There was a request to recreate Mexicandado but not as live action series, but as Gacha Life series to revive of what everyone in Glodelania calls it, "The Old Gold". But Supreme Leader Nanobana Kinako denied the request as Mexicandado as Gacha Life will not feel the same as the live action one, there's even a suggestion to be make it a voice acted series but Kinako's mind cannot be changed because Mexicandado involve a lot fight which is hard to comprehend in Gacha Life's animation style.
